In what may be Trump’s worst state right now, we had thousands of voters tell us they thought Mike Minogue was outstanding but couldn’t vote for anyone in “Trump’s party” this year. In fact, only 7% of voters in a public poll said they would be more likely to vote for a Trump-backed candidate, while 60% said they would be less likely. However, we won many of these voters over by responding, “The Massachusetts governor makes state decisions, and Mike was never a politician. In fact, he was registered as unaffiliated until this year because he thinks independently about what is best for Massachusetts. His focus was on leading troops into Desert Storm and then running a company that developed a heart valve that has saved hundreds of thousands of lives.”

At the Road to Majority event in July our Executive Director Alex Cucchiaro won the award as top canvasser of 2024 for reaching 20,470 Wisconsin doors in the Trump vs Harris race – however he sacrificed some of his own doors to help train the 124 New England canvassers. The top three canvassers in New England were Mike Reyes (#1 in bottom left photo and on leader board), Alex Jansen (#2) and Tre Barrow (#3).

Even in the toughest possible environment, having the best candidate in American in Mike Minogue for Governor gave great momentum to legislative candidates as he cut the lead from 24 points to 11 points before a highly publicized crash involving his Lt. Governor candidate stopped his momentum.
